On the morning of July 7, Yuhuan plumbing valve industry quality improvement project was officially launched. From now on, the expert team from China University of Metrology will provide one-year quality improvement assistance and guidance for the city's plumbing valve industry. During the implementation of the project, the project team will carry out face-to-face training and point-to-point assistance for Yuhuan plumbing valve industry enterprises in terms of industrial development, "made in Zhejiang" standard formulation, brand cultivation of "pinzibiao", construction of enterprise quality management system, application of advanced quality management methods and quality innovation.

       In June this year, Zhejiang launched the quality improvement action of 100 characteristic industries. In the action, the provincial market supervision and Administration Bureau selected 10 special industry projects focusing on the national major strategy, Zhejiang pillar industry, "neck sticking" technical products and products with outstanding quality problems, etc., and Yuhuan water heating valve industry was successfully selected.

       There are more than 1300 water heating valve manufacturing and processing enterprises in our city, accounting for about 25% of the total output value of similar products in the same industry in China, and 23% of the total export value of the same products in China.

       In recent years, Yuhuan has taken various measures to promote the development of traditional industry of plumbing valves, and has been successfully approved to establish the Technical Committee for standardization of plumbing and sanitary ware in Zhejiang Province. In February last year, Yuhuan City Plumbing valve industry innovation service complex was selected into the second batch of Zhejiang Province Industrial Innovation Service complex.
